Company mission of Ukrainian enterprises to «Stili e Sapori» exhibition

The delegation of the Ukrainian companies is going on the company mission to meet with the business companies in Padua (Italy).
Company mission will be organize within «Stili e Sapori» exhibition that will take place in Padua the 25-27th of November 2017.
The target audience of the exhibition: producers and suppliers of food products, processing companies, distributors, exporters.

During this mission, Ukrainian delegation will also meet economic partners that would help to facilitate business cooperation.
The main objectives

-presentation of Ukrainian products in the context of the exhibition
-prospect potential business partners

Expected number of participating companies from Ukrainian side: 5 companies representing different agro food sector, with main focus on:

The advanced training on "SPIN OFF and International research cooperation: how to better support SMEs" will provide information about the spin off opportunities that come along with the COPERNICUS services, tips and rules linked to the Technology transfer (TT) sector and IPR issues (including tips on H2020) as well as up to date information about the EUREKA and EBAN services and opportunities.

Technology Transfer Webinar 16: Advancing European and Japanese Business Partnerships through Technology

The EU-Japan Centre (EEN Japan) launched the EU-Japan Technology Transfer Helpdesk (http://www.eu-jp-tthelpdesk.eu/), a new service aimed at supporting EU and Japanese companies and individuals in their steps to search for and acquire technologies, as well as bridging the knowledge gap about current available technologies from both Japan and the EU.

The service is dedicated to:
• European companies, universities, and research institutions
• Japanese companies, universities, and research institutions
• European and Japanese individuals working for the above entities

Within this frame a series of Technology Transfer Webinars covering various technology transfer topics will be held.

ABOUT THE WEBINAR

Cooperation between Japan and European companies has to be further nurtured if these companies want to maximise their opportunities within the global economy. While many Japanese companies receive partnership opportunities from European companies, these are often declined due to internal struggles that challenge Japanese companies. SMEs in Japan often lack the resources necessary to develop or maintain partnerships with foreign companies. Such companies may not possess staff proficient in speaking or writing English, and are therefore, unable to effectively market themselves or communicate in English. Additionally, these companies may be too complacent to actively pursue or respond to international opportunities out of fear of not personally knowing or trusting the foreign company.
To solve these issues, which constitute a problem for both sides (EU and Japan) to interact, there are several solutions, like the ones offer by the Enterprise Europe Network. Beside these opportunities, there are also other private initiatives that are worth mentioning to support companies that would like to expand to Europe or other countries around the world.

China-EU B2B Events 2017(Changsha)-Hunan and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Companies Matchmaking Event

A delegation with 20 people from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany will visit Changsha, Hunan province on November 25, 2017, under the leadership of minister of agriculture and environment in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In addition to the political delegations and the German business delegations, this visit is also accompanied by a number of leading entrepreneurs in medicine, food, environmental technology and other fields.

This visit is a sub-event of “China-EU B2B Events 2017” for the purpose of developing a good relationship and linking up Hunan companies with Germany in the fields of food, biotechnology and environmental technology.

Specific information on this event is as followed:
The purpose of “China-EU B2B Events” is to arrange face-to-face meetings between enterprises from Europe and Hunan (China). In addition, participating companies will be offered to attend workshops, training sessions and business visiting.

CELSIUS Summit matchmaking 2017

From the EU research initiative Seventh Framework Programme, CELSIUS is a district heating and cooling (DHC) knowledge transfer and demonstration project. DHC is an excellent way to utilize secondary energy sources and become more energy efficient. EU cities with an expressed interest in planning, building and optimising smart DHC solutions can become CELSIUS Member Cities and benefit from the project offering. In the offering, there is a CELSIUS Wiki - an online DHC knowledge resource - with articles from the CELSIUS Partner Organisations, CELSIUS City Supporters and CELSIUS Member Cities. There are workshops, webinars and study visits to the CELSIUS demonstrators. CELSIUS promotes legislation with focus on energy efficiency at an energy system level. And there is a growing CELSIUS Network that decreases the distance between stakeholders interested in DHC development.

On behalf of the organising committee, we are pleased to announce that 2017's CELSIUS Summit - The Power of Networks - will be held from 27 to 28 of November in Gothenburg, Sweden. This dynamic conference will showcase the latest research and technological developments in addition to addressing key challenges faced by cities in the planning, development and optimisation of their district energy systems.


Starting with an overview of the latest developments that are happening around district energy networks across Europe – a series of live interviews and films will set the stage for this unique conference. Underlining the theme of the conference, “The Power of Networks”, participants will be encouraged to participate in one-on-one matchmaking sessions as well as intimate round table discussions on specific subjects, key to improving district energy systems in Europe.

French company mission from the Senior Health and Care Industry to Sweden

The company mission is jointly organised by the Chamber of Commerce of Nice Côte d’Azur, EEN Sweden, EEN CCI PACA and the french Chamber of Commerce in Stockholm. They will guide a group of french companies from the Health sector, in particular the Silver Economy Sector, and other organisations from the PACA Region (City of Nice, Team Côte d'Azur, Chamber of Commerce of Nice). The french companies are looking for distributions services agreements and technological partnerships.

Wind Energy Match 2017

The Wind Europe Fair will be held from 28 till 30 November 2017 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The event will consist of an exhibition, a conference and an international matchmaking on 29 and 30 November.

The international matchmaking is primarily focusing on wind energy (onshore and offshore wind).
The international matchmaking is organised by Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). (EEN NL)

With pre-arranged one-to-one meetings, onshore and offshore wind companies can find potential commercial and technology partners from other markets.

Matchmaking event during Polish-Czech-German Companies Cooperation Forum in Poland (September2017)

The Enterprise Europe Network in Wroclaw (Wroclaw Centre for Technology Transfer, Politechnika Wroclawska) in cooperation with Enterprise Europe Network in Görlitz organizes a matchmaking event planned for 29th of November 2017 in Blue Mountain Resort, Szklarska Poreba. An event will be organized during a workshop on Cross-border support and innovation support for cooperation on the Polish-Saxon border organized by Karkonosze Development Regional Agency in Jelenia Góra.

The Forum is dedicated to the companies of different sectors, e.g. logistics, metal and machine, electronic, electrical, energetic, renewable energy, construction, the Information technology, industry automation, mining and quarrying, wood, informative, plastics, sub-suppliers for the industry, environmental protection. The KARR's brokerage event is an annual event with a tradition of more than 20 years.

During November 30 - December 1, 2017 the Vth International Conference «Foreign economic activities as the factor for efficient development of small and medium enterprises in the Russian Federation regions» (hereinafter – Conference) will take place in the city of Rostov upon Don.

The Conference participants include representatives of competitive small and medium enterprises from the Rostov region and other regions of Russia; federal, regional and municipal authorities; leading development institutions and relevant infrastructure organizations (centers for coordination of support to export-oriented SMEs, cluster development centers, regional partners of Consortium Enterprise Europe Network – Russia, etc.); the Russian and international public organizations and unions of entrepreneurs; representatives of the embassies and of the international institutions that support SMEs, trade representatives of Russian in the foreign states; international experts and entrepreneurs having specific proposals for business cooperation or developed investment projects and interested to find potential partners; big Russian and international companies interested in developing cooperation with SMEs.

Walloon Circular Economy Company Mission in Rheinland-Pfalz

Today's linear ‘take, make, dispose’ economic model relies on large quantities of cheap, easily accessible materials and energy, and is a model that is reaching its physical limits. A circular economy is an attractive and viable alternative that businesses have already started exploring today.

As regard of this, CAP Innove asbl and the Province of Walloon Brabant has decided to give SMEs (with a focus on Very Small Enterprises (VSE)) from the Province the opportunity to become involved in the circular economy transition of Walloon Brabant. This has taken the form of The Circular Economy Awards in Brabant Wallon (EU GREEN WEEK PARTNER EVENT).
The Circular Economy Awards in Brabant wallon is a competition that aims to create circular economy projects and generate new green jobs in the Province. The competition begun on February 2017 and conclude with the Awards Ceremony that took place in Nivelles on 2017, May 30th. The event was organised by CAP Innove asbl, Enterprise Europe Network partner, and the Province of Brabant wallon.

The winners will be supported to successful the projects, will be funded for their project and the finalists will participate in a Company Mission in Germany, jointly organised by CAP Innove asbl/Enterprise Europe Network Wallonia and IMG GmbH/Enterprise Europe Network Rhineland-Palatinate. The scope of this company mission was extended to the whole Walloon Region.

The First Conferece of Women Entrepreneurship in Republika Srpska

The conference entitled "The First International Conference of Women Entrepreneurship in the Republic of Srpska", is an international gathering of business women, with a focus on matchmaking of women entrepreneurs from various countries and dealing in the field of electronics, IT and telecommunication, industrial manufacturing, material and transport, and also interested in communication and promotion of industrial products. This matchmaking event is accompanied with a business forum focused on topics and activities intended to promote importance of women entrepreneurship. Aside from SMEs, the forum will gather business support organizations, governmental bodies, and academia interested in women entrepreneurship.

The event is organized by Enterprise Europe Network, with the EEN consortium of the Republic of Srpska at the helm, and in cooperation with EEN representatives from Western Balkan Countries and their neighboring countries.

This call is directly related to (and/or inspired from) our EAEC Post-CES 2018 Immersion Week, but is focusing on European Research and Innovation initiatives and "deep tech" early stage startups.

Join us to discover the Silicon Valley and its surroundings next January 15-19, 2018.

This service gives you the opportunity to:
1- Understand the local US ecosystem (West Coast focus) that supports Innovation;
2- Have live feedbacks on your project/prototype/business plan;
Explore opportunities of funding in the US;
3- Meet potential partners;
4- Understand & better leverage the NearUS support.

The tour will introduce 10 selected participants to accelerators, renowned US university research gems, and successful US and EU scale-ups and unicorns located in San Francisco Bay, Sacramento and the Silicon Valley. Nanotech Cluster and SME mission to Japan 2018

Following the successful results from past years missions, the EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising again a cluster match-making mission in the nanotechnology sector.

This mission aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The Nanotech Cluster/SME mission coincides with the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference” in Tokyo (http://www.nanotechexpo.jp/). During the fair (3 days) participants will attend showcase sessions and B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors.

In order to maximize participants' partnering opportuni­ties, participants will be able to exhibit in the EU Delegation booth.

A month before the mission, an online pre-departure briefing will be held to prepare for the mission to ensure participants get the most out of it.

EU-Indonesia Business Network - EEN Indonesia- is organizing a company mission to Jakarta, Indonesia, on the F&B sector from 26-28 February 2018.

The program in Jakarta will consists of one day information session on current F&B trends in Indonesia and how to export and register your products in Indonesia. The information session will be followed by a site visits to sales point or factory. The 2 following days will be reserved for individual B2B meetings with local importers and distributors, as well as retail companies.

Our team will be in touch with the companies to better understand the business objectives in Indonesia, and will offer:

1. Development of a list of qualified contacts of potential partners according to their interest
2. Organization of tailored B2B agenda with potential Indonesian partners

This event will join Spanish enterprises in the Agrofood sector from La Rioja and importers and distributors from Germany, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Poland, China and USA.

During one day,companies will maintain business meetings previously established in agenda, with EU and third countries distributors and importers. The following day will be dedicated to visits to companies previously requested by importers. The EEN in Regional Business Federation of La Rioja (ES) is the promoter of the event, co-organized by EEN in Business Organisations from the above mentioned countries.

EU Pavilion in Food, Hotel and Tourism Bali 2018

The overall objective of the EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN) is to work towards the enhancement of exports and investments of the EU to Indonesia, particularly by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Therefore, EIBN organizes European Pavilions for European companies to get first hand impressions of the Indonesian market, get in touch with major players and potential business partners and to attend relevant business events. For the upcoming Food, Hotel and Toursim Bali Fair in March 2018, we are in the process of selecting a minimum of 10 companies to participate in the Pavilion.

European companies are invited to participate at the Food, Hotel and Toursim Bali 2018. The aim is to introduce European F&B products to the Indonesian market. A large Indonesian audience will be present: end-consumers but also distributors and importers as well as retail companies. European F&B products and introduction of European culture will feature under a large European pavilion.
The European pavilion will provide a comprehensive platform for all EU 28 representing companies (F&B producers and/ or distributors) to introduce their home country and their products.

Organic food mission in Japan for EU SMEs

The EU-Japan Centre (EEN Japan representative) is organising a trade mission to Japan for EU Small and Medium Sized companies operating in the organic food sector.

ABOUT THE MISSION

This 5-day mission will focus on the organics sector (primarily processed food and drinks, but also raw ingredients) and will include a 1-day orientation session and lectures in Tokyo and 4-day (free) exhibition space at the FOODEX JAPAN 2018 that will take place in Chiba, Japan in March. (http://www.jma.or.jp/foodex/en/index.html).

There are 8 places on this mission (with a maximum of one representative per company). To ensure their visibility at the trade fair, each company will have space to exhibit in the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation’s booth.

Professional interpreters will be on hand during the trade fair to help you communicate with potential Japanese business partners. Based on materials you provide, the EU-Japan Centre will arrange Japanese-language posters to promote your product at the EU-Japan Centre’s booth.

Prior to the mission an online pre-departure briefing will be organised to enable participants to prepare for the mission and their communication with future Japanese potential partners.

As a participant to this mission you will:
•Exhibit at FOODEX JAPAN, Asia's largest exhibition dedicated to food and drink
•Gain knowledge about the targeted market structure, sector analysis, business policy
•create new business opportunities
•Identify relevant key contacts
•Establish first contact and potential business relationships with Japanese companies, clusters and/or subcontractors.

TARGETED PROFILE

This mission is addressed at EU SMEs working in the organic food and drinks sector, developing high quality products with packaging strategies towards Japan.

WHO PAYS WHAT?

The EU-Japan Centre covers all mission-related costs such as speakers’ fees, room rental, trade fair registration, booth rental & arrangements, lectures and seminars, and poster translation and printing.

All participants cover their travel costs to and from Japan as well as living expenses in Japan, including accommodation. The transfer of any additional equipment to the fair will be at participant's cost.

ELIGIBILITY

The candidate must:
•be a citizen of an EU Member State or of a COSME partnering country
•work for a Small or Medium-Sized company that is > 50% EU (or COSME partnering country) owned
•work for an organisation that is an EU (or COSME partnering country) juridical person
•have a product certified with the EU organic logo (for applicants from COSME partnering country only – the product must confirm with the Organic JAS label)
•be supported by his/her employer
•be able to participate in the entire programme
•have a good command of English
•be a manager with proven experience in industry

APPLICATION

The application period will start in September with a deadline on the 23 November 2017. As the number of companies for this mission is limited to 8, a selection process will be made upon all received applications complying with the eligibility criteria.

This will be the 6th Greenwich Biopesticides Event organised by the Enterprise Europe Network SE UK and the European Centre for Integrated Pest Management (at the Natural Resources Institute, University of Greenwich).

The day is aimed at IPM/Biopesticide technology stakeholders; researchers and suppliers of current and new technologies, manufacturers, regulatory and government organisations/groups and of course the farmer and grower communities who are required to use Integrated Pest Management principles and methodologies.

The network forum encourages and facilitates delegates to establish linkages with other players in the sector to identify gaps and barriers and seize opportunities to collaborate as the pressures increase to reduce reliance on chemical usage.

The event, for which attendance in free, will follow the previously established format, which begins with a mix of plenary presentations by invited speakers and several ten minute commercial 'pitch' presentations from companies or researchers. These talks are followed by a brokerage session where delegates can participate in 1-to-1 pre-planned meetings aimed at future collaborations.

EU-Indonesia Business Network - EEN Indonesia- is organizing a company mission to Jakarta, Indonesia, on the Healthcare sector from 22-25 april 2018.

The program in Jakarta will consists of one day information session on current Healthcare trends in Indonesia and how to export and register your products in Indonesia. The information session will be followed by a site visits to a hospital. The 2 following days will be reserved for individual B2B meetings with local importers and distributors, as well as retail companies.

Our team will be in touch with the companies to better understand the business objectives in Indonesia, and will offer:
