Polish food&drink company mission to Portugal

The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) organises a delegation of Polish companies representing food&drink sector to attend the Alimentaria & Horexpo Lisboa fair.

The trade fair will take place on March 24-26, 2019. It is one of the leading events for food industry in Portugal. More about the trade fair: https://alimentariahorexpo.fil.pt/en/

The aim of the event is to establish international cooperation between Polish companies and potential business partners from Portugal and other countries.

We invite the following companies to join the event:
- Polish companies representing food industry,

B2B meetings at DATE 2019 in Florence

DATE 2019 is the 22th edition of the main European conference and exhibition bringing together designers and design automation users, researchers and vendors, as well as specialists in the hardware and software design, test and manufacturing of electronic circuits and systems.
A Brokerage Event organised by Enterprise Europe Network will be held on the closing day of DATE 2019.

Main sectors: technology and systems, covering ICs/SoCs, reconfigurable hardware and embedded systems, and embedded software.

The five-day event consists of a conference with plenary invited papers, regular papers, panels, hot-topic sessions, tutorials and workshops, two special focus days and a track for executives. A commercial exhibition will show the state-of-the-art in design and test tools, methodologies, IP and design services, reconfigurable and other hardware platforms, embedded software, and (industrial) design experiences from different application domains, e.g. automotive, wireless, telecom and multimedia applications.
Special space will also be allocated for EU-funded projects to show their results, in particular to TETRAMAX (https://www.tetramax.eu/).

Brokerage Event in the framework of the International Fair of Metal Processing STOM 2019

The Enterprise Europe Network in liaison with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Staropolska in Kielce is going to organise a brokerage event in the framework of the international fair of metal processing Stom 2019. The Vth edition of brokerage event at the Stom fairs will be the occasion to meet potential partners from all over the world, representing metal and machine industry.

The event will be organized on 27th of March 2019 in the frame of 12th sheet metal processing and cutting fair Stom-Blech & Cutting, 12th metal processing, tools and machine tools fair Stom-Tool, 6th industrial laser and laser technology expo Stom-Laser, 2nd industrial robotics expo, 27th fair of industrial measuring technology Control-Stom, 14th international fair of welding technology and equipment Welding, 10th exhibition of corrosion protection technology and surface treatment Expo-Surface, 11th 3D printing days, 6th virtual processing trade fair Wirtoprocesy.

Greencities B2B 2019. Urban Intelligence and Sustainability to talk about future cities.

Greencities is the 10th Forum of Urban Intelligence and Sustainability for Smart Cities that will be held in Málaga. During the last edition 2018, more than 170 companies were represented with the participation of more than 3.800 professionals and 30 mayors from about 42 countries and 270 cities. During 2019, with the cooperation of the Enterprise Europe Network, these bilateral meetings will be open to enhance the technology transfer and international cooperation.

It constitutes the ‘meeting point’ of all the agents involved in Smart Cities construction. It is the forum to talk about future cities, and it´s an initiative shared among institutions, municipalities, businesses and professionals focused on the projection of sustainable and smart cities.

Project creation, personal networking, the offering of services, the sharing of experiences and the reaching of inspirations is possible on Smart Cities development. Any possibility of building a future becomes real in Greencities due to an unique opportunity of networking with all the agents implied, in an environment that helps to inspire and develop the cities of the future

After gathering concrete feedback from SMEs on their specific barriers to innovation, skills, cooperation and investment, the consortium aims at structuring regional ecosystems and systematizing joint business cooperation projects and agreements between European Diagnostics and AI companies, including other stakeholders where necessary (hospital centres, manufacturers, venture capitalists, etc.).
The global objectives are to:

- enable technological centres to initiate new collaborations in Europe

Republic Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, within the Enterprise Europe Network of Republic of Srpska is organising a workshop "Doing business in China - How to bring your business to the world’s biggest market", which will be held on April 15th, 2019 in the premises of the Agency.

The purpose of the workshop is to exchange experience and explore the possibilities for establishing business cooperation with companies from People's Republic of China. According to the fact that People's Republic of China, today, is the largest market in the world, through this workshop, we want to provide additional information regarding the business opportunities on this market, which will facilitate business internationalisation between potential partners. Targeted support will be provided through the activities of the Enterprise Europe Network in partner countries.

The workshop will include case studies of Republic of Srpska enterprises that have been successful in the chinese market and provide opportunities to share experiences and learn from others.

The 2-week ‘Get Ready for Japan’ training programme offers EU managers the unique opportunity to experience and understand both the cultural and economic elements which define and explain Japan's business and technological achievements. Continuously improved to meet the latest expectations about business in Japan, the Get Ready for Japan provides EU businessmen with a professional Japan-related expertise.

It is focused on business management and consists of a combination of lectures, case studies, role plays and company visits. This is designed to help participants become thoroughly informed about the actual conditions of Japanese business through practical analysis and research. Participants will have the opportunity to take part to negotiation role-play exercises and discuss with Japanese managers about decision-making, team management methods in Japan.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

Typical participants:
- have a major role in defining and implementing their companies’ policies vis-à-vis Japan,
- are to be transferred to Japan,
- come from companies intending to supply Japanese companies,
- wish to learn about management practices and technological developments in Japan.

In order to ensure a high degree of personal attention, the number of participants in the programme is limited and therefore a selection process will be held between all the received candidatures by the deadline.

There is no tuition fee for EU SMEs; participants are expected to cover their flight to/from Japan, hotel and living expenses.

A grant from the European Commission up to €1200 is available for EU SMEs that are selected for the programme to help cover the costs.

Following 3 successful chii conferences, 2019 sees the first chii Academy with a change in format to provide a knowledge transfer platform tailored to industrial pioneers of hyperspectral imaging. Brokerage event Innovat&Match 2019

Aster, within the EEN Simpler consortium, organizes in Bologna (Italy) the brokerage event Innovat&Match 2019: three days of bilateral meetings between clusters, universities, research centres and companies in the framework of R2B - Research to Business 2019, 13th edition of the International fair for industrial research promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region, Bologna Fiere, Aster and Smau.

The initiative promotes the creation of technological agreements, research projects and transnational collaboration between researchers and entrepreneurs.

Encouraged by the success of the previous editions of the Subcontracting Industrial Subcontracting Exhibitions, Poznan International Fair decided to organize the "Subcontracting Meetings 2019" which will be held simultaneously with the biggest industrial trade fair in Poland – the ITM Poland.

Since the first edition in 1992, more than 700 participants from across all EU Member states have participated in this practical training course managed by the EU-Japan Centre.

The 5-day World Class Manufacturing training mission provides an in-depth analysis of Japanese manufacturing methodology such as Lean, Kaizen, TQC ...)

STRUCTURE OF THE TRAINING

The training course consists of lectures, workshops and visits to some of the world’s most advanced Japanese factories in order to understand the real "Gemba" (production site), talk directly with their production managers and observe the effective implementation of manufacturing methods.This course will give its participants a detailed understanding of current Japanese approaches that they can adapt to help their companies lean journeys.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

The training targets EU managers, working in EU companies, with knowledge of WCM and an engineering background, deal participants have an important strategic role in shaping the company's best practice strategy or can influence the company's management of quality control / best practice / production systems.

The sector of activity is unimportant since the themes covered are equally applicable in non-manufacturing industries.

Please note: the number of allowed participants is limited to 25 therefore companies interested to the mission will have to fill in an application form and a selection process will take place to select the participating companies.

COSTS

The all organisation and its related costs such as workshop, transport to visited location, interpreters, etc... are covered by the EU-Japan Centre. (see the link for more details).

B2B meetings at EMO Hanover 2019

EMO Hannover is the world's largest and leading fair of the metal sector. September 16-20th, 2019, the Enterprise Europe Network is organising the 4th matchmaking event at EMO in Hanover.

Decisionmakers from around the world are present at the fair, making it the place to be for anybody from the world of metalworking to find out about new technologies and market opportunities.

The last fair in 2017 in Hanover was attended by 2,200 exhibitors and 129,000 visitors from over 160 countries.

The last Enterprise Europe Network Matchmaking event had 298 participants from 25 countries.

Main focus of the fair:

- manufacturing systems,

Biotech Cluster and SME Mission 2019

Following the successful results from the previous years, the EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising the 7th edition of the cluster and SMEs match-making mission in the Biotechnology sector. This mission aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale. The mission will also contribute to improve the cooperation strategies between EU and Japanese clusters.

The Biotech Cluster/SME mission coincides with the “BioJapan” Expo in Yokohama (http://www.ics-expo.jp/biojapan/en/). During the fair (3 days) participants will attend showcase sessions and B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors. In order to maximize participants' partnering opportuni­ties, participants will be able to exhibit in the EU Delegation booth.

Additionally, a partnering event will be organized one day before the fair, in Osaka.

In cooperation with the fair organization of MAP-EXPO 2019 Enterprise Europe Network invites European Agri solution enterprises in the herbal industrial value chains.
The international matchmaking is focused on strengthening ties in those herbal industrial value chains. Incoming missions from the Far East, Africa and other parts of the world will be there too.
Topics for cooperation are research, domestication, cultivation, harvesting, post-harvesting, drying, conservation, distillation, extraction, product development in combination with traditional remedies, sorting and selection, packaging, tracing and quality control.

The MAP EXPO 2019 is a combination of a fair, conference and matchmaking.
The main-organizer of the matchmaking is the Kamer van Koophandel.
The matchmaking takes place on 9-10 October 2019.

Match4Industry Business Matching Event 2019

ABIGEM East Marmara invites you to participate in an international brokerage event taking place at the SANTEK Industry and Technology Fair in Kocaeli, Turkey between the dates 6 - 7 November 2019.

Main sectors: Automotive supply, metal and machinery, plastics and rubber, tire, chemical (automotive paints and coatings, automotive care products), construction and construction materials, energy, environment, electric-electronics, information and communication technologies, woman entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurs, universities and companies that are active in related sectors will be able to register their profiles through the website which will be available soon


The eighth edition of the Match4Industry Event will be held at the SANTEK Industry and Technology Fair in Kocaeli. In addition to targeted bilateral meetings that will be organised in the fair area, onsite visits to companies’ premises will also be offered as an optional program, offering the participants a chance to observe Kocaeli’s business environment at first hand.

Accommodation cost of the participants will be financed by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Economy. Deadline for free of charge accommodation: 25 October, 2019.

Participation is free of charge and our services include business meetings, assistance before, during and after the event, local transfers to meeting points, translation (English to Turkish - Turkish to English), lunches, refreshments and welcoming dinner. Deadline for registration: 04 November, 2019.

As being member of Enterprise Europe Network, we hope to generate commercial and technological cooperations between Turkey and participating Enterprise Europe Network countries.

Training on Japanese manufacturing methodologies - November 2019

Since the first edition in 1992, more than 700 participants from across all EU Member states have participated in this practical training course managed by the EU-Japan Centre.

The 5-day World Class Manufacturing training mission provides an in-depth analysis of Japanese manufacturing methodology such as Lean, Kaizen, TQC ...)

Mission date: 18-22 November 2019

STRUCTURE OF THE TRAINING

The training course consists of lectures, workshops and visits to some of the world’s most advanced Japanese factories in order to understand the real "Gemba" (production site), talk directly with their production managers and observe the effective implementation of manufacturing methods.This course will give its participants a detailed understanding of current Japanese approaches that they can adapt to help their companies lean journeys.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

The training targets EU managers, working in EU companies, with knowledge of WCM and an engineering background, deal participants have an important strategic role in shaping the company's best practice strategy or can influence the company's management of quality control / best practice / production systems.

The sector of activity is unimportant since the themes covered are equally applicable in non-manufacturing industries.

Please note: the number of allowed participants is limited to 25 therefore companies interested to the mission will have to fill in an application form and a selection process will take place to select the participating companies.

ICT Cluster and SME Mission 2019

The EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising, for the fourth time, a cluster match-making mission in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector.

This mission is aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will be organised on the fringe of Embedded Technology & IoT Technology 2019 in Yokohama. During the fair (3 days) participants will attend B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors. In order to maximize your partnering opportuni­ties, participating companies will be able to exhibit in the EU-Japan Centre booth.

Additionally, a networking/partnering event will be organised one day before the fair.

The EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising a nanotech mission to Japan on the fringes of the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference” (http://www.nanotechexpo.jp/).
This mission aimed to support EU SME and Clusters in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale.

• Mission dates: from 28-31 January 2020
• Application deadline: Thursday, 3 October 2019,

Mission participants will have the opportunity to:
• Exhibit at the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference”
