Get inspired by Sustainable Fashion and Fabrics on 20th January @Modefabriek

During the EU Fashion Match 8.0, the KVK Netherlands Chamber of Commerce and her partners want to emphasize the importance of making the fashion and textile sector more sustainable. An inspiration session is organized about the statement:

Clothing without (environmentally) harmful materials is feasible, but is it also scalable?

On the basis of a number of inspiring examples, issues are addressed in the area of processing raw materials into usable yarn, using residues from the agricultural sector and how to grow from experiment to the market.

We invite the participants to think along with solutions and hope to inspire the sector and help them on their way to a sustainable Fashion and Textile sector. In small groups, the examples of non- harmful materials for fashion market will be clarified and participants can give their ideas how to tackle the problems and offer their help. At the end the groups wrap up their possibilities for further exploration and discussing next steps for follow up.

Praxi Network with the support of Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna, CNA Regionale Dell'Emilia-Romanga and Viesoji Istaiga Lietuvos Inovaciju Centras, is organizing an outgoing trade mission of Greek Food and Ho.Re.Ca SMEs to Rimini, in the context of the 40th International Exhibition (SIGEP*) dedicated to Confectionery, Pastry and Bakery production as well as the Coffee sector and will take place in Rimini on the 19 January 2019.

Sigep is one the largest trade fairs in Italy and its 40th edition will take place between 19-23/01/2019 in Rimini Expo Center.
Sigep 2018 had a record attendance of 209,135 visitors , including 32,202 foreign buyers from 180 countries attracting important exhibitors from around the world.

Blue Invest in the Mediterranean B2B

Business forum Serbia-Slovenia 2019

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), is organizing the Business Forum Serbia-Slovenia, which will be held in Belgrade on Monday, January 28, 2019.

The Forum is being held on occasion of the visit of a business delegation from Slovenia led by H.E. Borut Pahor, President of the Republic of Slovenia.

In the plenary part of the Forum, a panel discussion will be held on the subject of digitalisation of the economy, while during the business forum two other panel discussions will be held on the topic of tourism and circular economy.

In the final part of the forum, B2B business meetings will be held according to a pre-defined schedule in accordance with the express interest and terms scheduled through the European Enterprise Network (EEN) platform.

The main goal of the Forum is to connect local businessmen through bilateral talks with their counterparts from Slovenia, presentation of opportunities of their companies and products, and establishment of future cooperation.

Brokerage Event on Key Enabling Technologies for industrial applications

Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) are drivers of innovation and set important impetus for an intelligent and sustainable economic growth in Europe in order to ensure the future viability of our society.
The KETGATE project is an initiative supported thorugh Interreg Central Europe and the aims is to connect Business Support Organisations (BSO) and Research and Technology Organisations (RTO) in order to help SMEs accessing high-level technologies.
The brokerage event will be organised also in the framework of Enterprise Europe Network, the largest technology transfer network of brokers in the world in order maximize the involvement of RTOs and SMEs and generate a great number of collaborations.

This KETGATE brokerage event is dedicated to six Key Enabling Technologies:

As a side event a visit to Legnaro National Laboratories, one of the four national labs of the Italian Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN) is foreseen for Friday 1 February. The organisers will pick up the interested participants at the Hotel Ai Pini and will take them back at the same place. The visit is free of charge but limited to 40 participants. Company mission of Romanian companies during the exhibition "Made in Moldova"

The National Exhibition “Made in Moldova” is organized annually by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and has the main objectives to promote the local products and services, highlighting their competitiveness and to identify new opportunities for creating sustainable business partnerships. It has become over years one of the major and most prestigious exhibition in the country, reflecting the main achievements of the national economy.

As in the previous editions, the exhibition will host an extensive business program which will address current topics for the representatives of the business community in the country and abroad.

Innovate UK’s Global Business Innovation Programme, delivered by Enterprise Europe Network, is organising a space visit to Silicon Valley for businesses working in the space and satellite sector that are looking to innovate and grow internationally.

The programme will enable successful applicants to meet with investors in the sector and provide insight into the requirements of successfully doing business in the US market.

Delegates will have the opportunity to pitch to venture capital companies and attend the SmallSat Symposium 2019 to meet with potential partners, investors and customers.

Why Silicon Valley?

Silicon Valley is the home to many start-up, technology and data
companies, presenting opportunities for UK businesses in the space and satellite sector to form collaborative partnerships and plan for future growth.

The EU financed ÉPRISE project, “Empowering Photonics through Regional Innovation Strategies in Europe”, brings together nine leading photonics innovation clusters and national photonics platforms around Europe with the aim of supporting companies who use photonics to enter into four Life Sciences market sectors where Europe holds a leading position, namely Medical Technologies, Pharmaceuticals, Agriculture and Food.

For the Agriculture and Food roadshow in Amsterdam, Enterprise Europe Network Netherlands will organise a b2b matchmaking on 14-15 February 2019. This is an unique chance to meet other European photonics companies and experts in Agriculture & Food.

Agrofood Company Mission to Brazil

The National Confederation of Industries of Brazil, CNI, with the support of the SICINDUSTRIA, the Enterprise Europe Network Consorzio Bridgeconomies, in Italy, are promoting a Company Mission to Brazil for the Agrofood sector to match business interests between Brazilian and European medium size entreprises.

CNI coordinates the Brazilian Network of International Business Centers, the CIN Network, to promote the internationalization of Brazilian companies through customized services and also to defend the industry interests in its internationtal operations.

Present in Industry Federations of 26 states and Federal District, the CIN Network has foreign trade experts who develop linked and complementary solutions for better knowing their real business opportunities and enhancing their relations with customers and partners abroad.

It is known that the EU has twelve trade negotiations under way. One of them is with MERCOSUR composed by four countries: Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. This trade has been negotiating for 22 years which implies the importance of developing an agreement between EU and MERCOSUR. The future of its bilateral negotiation is to facilitate the business integration for both continents trying to solve market access issues.

Although the Brazilian market is is highly protected with an applied customs averaging duty of 13.5%, the EU encourages Brazil to reduce tariff and non-tariff barriers, and to promote a stable and more open regulatory environment for European investors and traders.

The interests of doing business across Europe and Brazil is based on the plenty opportunities that can be explored for Food and Beverage industries, mostly considering the market size, a considerable amount of consumption, high valorisation of imported products with high quality, open access to products already imported from Greece, Italy, France, among others. Those are the main reasons for including Brazil as a strategic market, which should be accessed by a Company Mission to reach business between European and Brazilians.

The scope of the Company Mission to Brazil will bring into account: B2match plataform, technical support from Federations teams (and CNI), business intelligence consultancy, interpreters, promotion in advance (companies, products, interests, etc), market access info, BE cost free, networking activities supported by other partners, guided visit to Inhotim (an open Museum surrounded in Belo Horizonte), transfers in and out to the airport – hotel – meetings, list of affordable hotel prices, equipped rooms with food and snacks during the meetings.

Cross-industry innovation forum 2019 (Sustainable construction, manufacturing, industrial service robotics)

Cross-industry innovation is a smart way to develop innovation efforts by drawing analogies and transferring approaches between contexts, beyond the borders of established industry, sector, area or domain. These analogies can be drawn at various levels, from products to services, to processes, to strategies, to business models, to culture and leadership.

On the 17th January 2019 the first edition of Cross-Industry Innovation Forum Südtirol will take place at the new Innovation Hub NOI Techpark in Bolzano.

The planned focal points of the Forum:
cross sectoral opportunities and growth market for sustainable building sector, growth market Digital business models for manufacturing companies and growth market Industrial Service Robotics.

The Forum will focus on technology vision & solutions, new business models. Companies from Südtirol and abroad will present in speeches their best practices in doing cross sectoral efforts.

In the afternoon, a workshop session between companies and experts is planned, followed by a EEN matchmaking session where companies will have the opportunity to get in touch with each other.

The 9th Edition of Murcia Food Brokerage Event 2019 will present the latest creations in the field of food technology, providing companies from different European countries with an excellent opportunity to hold bilateral meetings aimed at establishing technology cooperation agreements and research proposal.

Murcia Food Brokerage Event is a free event organized by the Regional Development Agency of the Region of Murcia (INFO). It is organized in the Enterprise Europe Network EEN SEIMED framework.

Murcia Food Brokerage Event is organized in collaboration with AINIA (Agrofood Technology Institute) and the National Food and Canning Technology Center.

Get Ready for Japan 2019

The 2-week ‘Get Ready for Japan’ training programme offers EU managers the unique opportunity to experience and understand both the cultural and economic elements which define and explain Japan's business and technological achievements. Continuously improved to meet the latest expectations about business in Japan, the Get Ready for Japan provides EU businessmen with a professional Japan-related expertise.

It is focused on business management and consists of a combination of lectures, case studies, role plays and company visits. This is designed to help participants become thoroughly informed about the actual conditions of Japanese business through practical analysis and research. Participants will have the opportunity to take part to negotiation role-play exercises and discuss with Japanese managers about decision-making, team management methods in Japan.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

Typical participants:
- have a major role in defining and implementing their companies’ policies vis-à-vis Japan,
- are to be transferred to Japan,
- come from companies intending to supply Japanese companies,
- wish to learn about management practices and technological developments in Japan.

In order to ensure a high degree of personal attention, the number of participants in the programme is limited and therefore a selection process will be held between all the received candidatures by the deadline.

There is no tuition fee for EU SMEs; participants are expected to cover their flight to/from Japan, hotel and living expenses.

A grant from the European Commission up to €1200 is available for EU SMEs that are selected for the programme to help cover the costs.

B2B meetings at EMO Hanover 2019

EMO Hannover is the world's largest and leading fair of the metal sector. September 16-20th, 2019, the Enterprise Europe Network is organising the 4th matchmaking event at EMO in Hanover.

Decisionmakers from around the world are present at the fair, making it the place to be for anybody from the world of metalworking to find out about new technologies and market opportunities.

The last fair in 2017 in Hanover was attended by 2,200 exhibitors and 129,000 visitors from over 160 countries.

The last Enterprise Europe Network Matchmaking event had 298 participants from 25 countries.

Main focus of the fair:

- cutting and forming machine tools,
- manufacturing systems,
- precision tools,
- automated materials flows,
- computer technology,
- industrial electronics and accessories,

As in previous years the matchmaking will be a high-profile event which offers the network and the participating partners the opportunity to present themselves to a large international audience. Exhibitors from many countries are already registered at the fair and can also be recruited for the event with the support of the fair organiser vdw who supports the event as the official matchmaking event of the fair. Exhibitors of the fair and Enterprise Europe Network customers can register for free until July 31st.

Biotech Cluster and SME Mission 2019

Following the successful results from the previous years, the EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising the 7th edition of the cluster and SMEs match-making mission in the Biotechnology sector. This mission aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale. The mission will also contribute to improve the cooperation strategies between EU and Japanese clusters.

The Biotech Cluster/SME mission coincides with the “BioJapan” Expo in Yokohama (http://www.ics-expo.jp/biojapan/en/). During the fair (3 days) participants will attend showcase sessions and B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors. In order to maximize participants' partnering opportuni­ties, participants will be able to exhibit in the EU Delegation booth.

Additionally, a partnering event will be organized one day before the fair, in Osaka.

The EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising, for the fourth time, a cluster match-making mission in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector.

This mission is aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will be organised on the fringe of Embedded Technology & IoT Technology 2019 in Yokohama. During the fair (3 days) participants will attend B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors. In order to maximize your partnering opportuni­ties, participating companies will be able to exhibit in the EU-Japan Centre booth.

The EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising a nanotech mission to Japan on the fringes of the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference” (http://www.nanotechexpo.jp/).
This mission aimed to support EU SME and Clusters in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale.

• Mission dates: from 28-31 January 2020
• Application deadline: Thursday, 3 October 2019,

Mission participants will have the opportunity to:
• Exhibit at the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference”
• Gain knowledge about the Nanotechnology market structure, sector analysis, business policy
• Identify relevant key contacts (decision makers, R&D centres, business partners)
• Establish relationships with potential partners (trade and technology)
• Benefit from face-to-face meetings leading to possible business opportunities
