VIII Inward Trade Mission in the Agrofood sector to La Rioja

This event will join Spanish enterprises in the Agrofood sector from La Rioja and importers and distributors from over 20 countries.

During one day, companies will maintain business meetings previously established in agenda, with EU and third countries distributors and importers. The following day will be dedicated to visits to companies previously requested by importers. The Enterprise Europe Network in Regional Business Federation of La Rioja (ES) is the promoter of the event, co-organized by Enterprise Europe Network in Business Organisations from the above mentioned countries.

Sectors represented. Target audience:

Enterprises in the Agrofood Sector from La Rioja: Wine in Denomination of Origin Rioja, Sausages (serrano ham, chorizo…), tinned vegetables (peppers, artichokes, mushrooms, asparagus, etc.), Olive oil, Sauces, Dairy products, etc.

Importers and distributors: Wine and Food importers and distributors from Europe (UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Latvia, Portugal...), America (USA, Canada, Mexico) and Asia (China, Japan).

Partnering at JECworld 2020 - Innovation in Composites - EEN Joint Stand

JEC is the largest composites industry organization in Europe and in the world with a network with more than 250.000 experts and professionals. All segments of the global composites industry will be connected by JEC. Furthermore the network supports the development of composites material by fostering knowledge transfer and exchanges between suppliers and users.
At the annual JEC Composites Show in Paris, Bayern Innovativ will organise a joint stand for Bavarian material experts from industry, universities and cluster organisations.
In addition, a small and targeted Brokerage Event (Partnering) will be organised at the joint booth during the fair. The Partnering aimed at SME, Start-ups, universities, research institutes and further stakeholders, who are interested in finding new business partners for transnational projects and establishing new cooperations. It focusses on the whole field on composite materials from the entire value chain, like raw materials, processing technologies, tools, machines, testing, manufacturing of parts and will be an international platform, where users can find a wide spectrum of processes, new materials and composites solutions.

Visits of EEN company mission or individual EEN clients are welcome at the Joint booth and the Partnering Event. The participation at the partnering Event is free of charge, the registration and submission of a cooperation profile are necessary. B2B Matchmaking focused on rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing during the fair RapidPro 2020

The RapidPro 2020 Matchmaking is organized by Enterprise Europe Network on March 4th-5th, in addition to the organized fair RapidPro 2020.

RapidPro is an important international trade fair in Western Europe featuring solutions for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing. This fair is the 10th edition of RapidPro. The international B2B matchmaking is organized for the second time.

During the fair exhibitors show and demonstrate their latest solutions for all phases of prototyping, (low-volume) production, and product development. Visitors can also participate in a conference program. This time Eindhoven is home to more than 2000 international visitors and about 75 participating organizations from Western Europe.

The matchmaking targets a wide spectrum of companies, visitors and delegates from all over Europe, interested in sharing new projects ideas, collaboration partners and business opportunities.

Good reasons for participation are:

Innoform 2020 - Brokerage Event at International Cooperative Trade Fair of Tools and Processing Industry

Enterprise Europe Network in Torun (Poland) is pleased to organise the 4th edition of the Matchmaking Event on the occasion of International Cooperative Trade Fair of Tools and Processing Industry INNOFORM 2020.

Matchmaking Event are organised one-to-one business meetings. It is a great occasion to meet potential partners from all over the world, find out and discuss market trends and innovations or initiate cross-border contacts and long-lasting co-operation.

Participation is free of charge for all exhibitors and visitors registered at the INNOFORM 2020 Fair Trade (registration until 28th February). Kuyavian - Pomeranian region has been a leader in manufacturing tools and processing plastics in Poland and Europe for years.

It is called "the Polish tools valley" for a reason - several hundred enterprises engaged in manufacturing tools for processing as well as processing itself operate here.

Business to Blue (B2Blue)

ART-ER, within the Enterprise Europe Network Simpler consortium, organizes Business to Blue (B2Blue) brokerage event, one day of bilateral meetings between universities, research centres, SME and companies on the blue economy. The event is organised in the framework of Sealogy, an Italian trade fair on the topic and is taking place in Ferrara (Italy) on the 6th of March 2020.

Substitution of Chemical Substances: Project Results and Matchmaking Event

The Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) are holding an information and matchmaking event to conclude a key project aimed at supporting companies working with the substitution of chemical substances of concern.

The event will be held at the Glaverbel Building in Brussels on 6 March 2020, and will report on the results of the two-year project, which has worked to enhance the online profiles of Enterprise Europe Network clients, supported them at a range of b2match events across Europe, and devised a new process for helping these companies find the right partners working in the substitution of chemical substances of concern.

Delivery partners RPA Europe Srl, Risk & Policy Analysts Ltd and Arcadis Belgium are hosting the 1-day event, which includes talks for EEN and related partners on the results of the project and an afternoon b2match event, aimed at EEN partners with clients with relevant profiles, in order to find new contacts. UK Antimicrobial Resistance Mission to Germany and Switzerland

Antimicrobial resistance, more specifically antibacterial resistance, poses a global economic and a health challenge. It is estimated that 10 million deaths due to AMR will occur every year after 2050. There is a need for new accurate bacterial infection diagnostic tests as they can deliver accurate results in a matter of minutes and guide treatment decisions while patients are still with their doctors.

B2B Matchmaking at the Integrated Plant Engineering Conference 2020 (IPEC) on Cognitive Engineering & Production

The 6th European Integrated Plant Engineering Conference (IPEC) will take place in Nuremberg on the 11th of March 2020, this time with a special focus on „Cognitive Engineering & Production“.

The conference will be organized by the Nuremberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry with support from VDI (Association of German Engineers) in Northern Bavaria. The conference serves the exchange of experiences and ideas on Cognitive Engineering and Production.

The topic Cognitive Engineering and Production has gained attention in the course of the Industrial Internet of things (IIoT), which is said to transform production. Cognitive engineering itself uses cognitive psychology for engineering purposes to make production more efficient as well as to plan virtual and participative processes. Hereby, modern production management and digital engineering play a key role in optimizing processes by integrating IT. The integration of data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence allows great insight in the production process in order to improve the efficiency and reliability of the manufacturing environment.

The program includes several international speakers from countries such as UK, Sweden, the Netherlands and Germany. Thus, the conference will be held in English and participation is free of charge. The number of participants is limited.

Parallel to the conference, the Enterprise Europe Network organises a partnering event specifically for the international visitors of the IPEC 2020. Conference participants can request meetings with speakers, exhibitors and conference participants in advance. The meetings will take place at the conference location. Between 10 - 13 March 2020 the METAV (Metal Processing) will take place at the Messe Düsseldorf.

The international trade fair for manufacturing technology and process automation is now being held for the 21st time by the VDW (Association of German Machine Tool Builders) and is regarded as THE trade fair for technologies in metalworking.

At the centre of this year's exhibition are

- Tools for quality assurance (testing and measuring technology, sensor technology)

- Additive manufacturing (CAD, simulation, hybrid machines)

The mission will take place between 12th to 13th March 2020 and during the mission Catalan and Peruvian companies will have the opportunity to establish cross-border contacts for future co-operations through pre-arranged meetings/agendas laid out before companies leave Catalonia.

The planned company mission provides an answer to the needs expressed by the companies from Podlaskie region. The duration and destination of the mission have been established on the basis of the analysis conducted among local/regional companies. The company mission is co-organised with the Metal Processing Cluster. The mission is aimed at any company from metal processing industry, regardless of being a member of Metal Processing Cluster. The objective is to boost opportunities for international cooperation and establish new prospective business contacts, which will be achieved by active participation in the Hannover Messe trade fairs.

International Partnering IFAT 2020 – Innovations in Environment, Energy and Circular Economy

IFAT is the leading trade fair for environmental technologies around water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. In 2020, the main focus is on technologies, engines and services within the sectors water and wastewater. Above that, IFAT concentrates on waste and secondary raw materials with topics such as recycling, air purification, and energy generation. During the 2018 fair, more than 3.000 exhibitors and altogether around 140.000 experts from all around the world were present.

Parallel to the fair, the Enterprise Europe Network organises an international brokerage event on 4th and 5th May 2020. The bilateral meetings allow targeted networking and matchmaking for all exhibitors and visitors of the fair. On occasion of the official launch of the KETGATE Network we invite all small- & medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and research & technology organizations (RTOs) looking for the right research and/or industry partner to explore cooperation opportunities.

The goal of KETGATE is simple, we want to help businesses reach science and we want to help science reach businesses. Sustainable Packaging: Are you ready?

On the occasion of Startup-Woche Düsseldorf, NRW.International is inviting both North Rhine-Westphalian and foreign companies to take part in an event whose main focus is sustainability in packaging industry.
The aim of this event is to bring everyone together to talk about packaging - and to find solutions that make it more sustainable and innovative.

Reducing materials and using sustainable packaging has become a major issue and industry and lawmakers are intensively discussing new solutions. It is precisely this dialogue that we want to continue and deepen while working with innovative start-ups, SMEs and companies on tailor-made solutions for major challenges in packaging business.
To this end, companies will present concrete problems in advance, which will then be worked on in a creative process on the day. There will also be plenty of time in between for personal networking. The 2-week ‘Get Ready for Japan’ training programme offers EU managers the unique opportunity to experience and understand both the cultural and economic elements which define and explain Japan's business and technological achievements. Continuously improved to meet the latest expectations about business in Japan, the Get Ready for Japan provides EU businessmen with a professional Japan-related expertise.

It is focused on business management and consists of a combination of lectures, case studies, role plays and company visits. This is designed to help participants become thoroughly informed about the actual conditions of Japanese business through practical analysis and research. Participants will have the opportunity to take part to negotiation role-play exercises and discuss with Japanese managers about decision-making, team management methods in Japan. The mission may include the possibility to have tailored B2B meetings as well.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

Typical participants:
- Start-Up or SME
- have a major role in defining and implementing their companies’ policies vis-à-vis Japan,
- are to be transferred to Japan,

Matchmaking event during the 85th edition of the Thessaloniki International Fair

The Federation of Industries of Greece (SBE), in collaboration with the National Exhibition Agency TIF HELEXPO SA, is organizing a Brokerage Event on 7-8 September 2020, during the 85th edition of the Thessaloniki International Fair, which will take place on 5-13 September 2020.

The first Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) was organized almost a century ago in 1926. Over the following decades, TIF has come to be considered as the "mother" of national exhibitions. It is also the largest trade exhibition not only in Greece but in the whole of the Balkan region. In addition, it has built up a solid reputation for hosting various parallel sessions, including international parternariat events, as well as business-to-government features.

With a strong focus on showcasing entrepreneurship and innovation, TIF has consistently worked towards promoting the Greek economy and enhancing foreign partnerships, particularly in the wider region of Southeast Europe. Furthermore, it has been instrumental in creating “incubators” for the development of other internationally-oriented events.

Last year’s TIF gathered 1600 Greek and international exhibitors, and welcomed over 250,000 visitors from Greece and abroad. This year, the 85th TIF expects to equal if not outdo those figures. On the occasion of Germany being this year’s Honoured Country at TIF, the spotlight will be particularly focussed on the participation of one of the most important industrialized and developed countries in the world and Europe’s largest economy. The aim is to present its potential in all aspects of economy, science, and innovation trends, as well as to foster opportunities for partnerships between host exhibitors from Greece and visiting companies from Germany.

In keeping with the latest trend towards digitalization, TIF is also hosting the Digital Greece for the second consecutive year, in order to promote innovative entrepreneurship. This initiative of the Ministry of Digital Governance and TIF HELEXPO, in collaboration with Industry Disruptors - Game Changers, maps the digital Greek ecosystem, presenting start-ups and scale-ups, company structures supporting young entrepreneurs, universities, research centers and funding providers as permanent exhibitors. At the same time, workshops, lectures and discussions will highlight emerging trends and dynamics, as well as opportunities arising in the specific business sector.

The matchmaking event organised by the Federation of Industries of Greece during TIF 2020 is open to companies from all countries and all fields, but is particularly targeted to Greek and German participants from the following sectors:-
- Construction & building materials (particularly for sustainable construction)
- Food & beverages
- ICT
- Energy
- Environment.

Istanbul Fintech Week 2020 Brokerage Event

Istanbul Fintech Week is an international event and platform where entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, executives from all over the world come together to discuss sectoral headlines and technology verticals in the field of financial innovation and technologies (Fintech), to discuss the latest innovation issues.

Istanbul Fintech Week (IFW) is the largest fintech gathering in Turkey and the broader EMEA region. In its first edition, the event hosted +1100 participants through 7 industry streams, 25 thematic stages, country presentations and dozens of startup pitches. IFW is a culmination of three industry summits that have taken place in recent years. Biotech Cluster and SME Mission 2020

Following the successful results from the previous years, the EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising the 8th edition of the cluster and SMEs match-making mission in the Biotechnology sector. This mission aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale. The mission will also contribute to improve the cooperation strategies between EU and Japanese clusters.

The Biotech Cluster/SME mission coincides with the “BioJapan” Expo in Yokohama (http://www.ics-expo.jp/biojapan/en/). During the fair (3 days) participants will attend showcase sessions and B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors. In order to maximize participants' partnering opportuni­ties, participants will be able to exhibit in the EU Delegation booth.

Additionally, a partnering event will be organized one day before the fair, in Osaka.

OBJECTIVES

Through this mission you will have the opportunity to:

The all organisation and its related costs such as the fair participation, interpreters, etc... are covered by the EU-Japan Centre. (see the link for more details).

SME and clusters participants can benefit of a €600 grant, provided by the European Commission, through our organisation to help cover the flight and hotel costs that are to be covered by the participant.

Please note: the number of allowed participants is limited to 20 therefore companies interested to the mission will have to fill in an application form and a selection process will take place to select the participating companies.

Brokerage event at the European Biotech and Pharma Partnering Conference 2020 in Osaka, Japan

The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation as the partner of Enterprise Europe Network in Japan, is organising a Brokerage Event in Biotech and Pharma sectors, which will take place on 13 October 2020 in Osaka, Japan.

Being Japan’s second largest city, Osaka is a major economic centre for Biotech and Pharma industry in Japan and hosts several biotech clusters. Historically, a large number of pharmaceutical companies have been concentrated in Osaka. Nowadays, bio-related pharmaceutical companies, food manufacturers and their surrounding companies, including chemical and medical equipment companies are accumulated around Osaka and forming clusters.

During the event, business representatives of EU companies will have an opportunity to attend pre-arranged B2B meetings with Japanese companies from the Kansai region. The event serves a perfect platform to meet representatives of Japanese companies and accelerate opportunities for potential business partnerships between EU and Japanese companies. The event will kick off with an opening speech at 9 AM and the B2B meetings will take place shortly after (from 9:20 PM to 4:00 PM).

The business matching event is reserved only to European Union (including COSME) companies and to local Japanese companies.

SIAL is the world's leading food industry show which takes place
every two years in Paris.

In 2020, SIAL Paris will be a bigger source of inspiration than ever for the world's food industry: 7,000 companies from more than 100 countries will be presenting their products to retail and foodservice professionals.

A brokerage event is organised in SIAL by Enterprise Europe Network Normandie and Paris Ile de France.

The event will organise face-to-face buyer-producer meetings based on specific requests from the international buyers. Producers from all over Europe will travel to Paris to present their products during the pre-booked meetings. This new type of event is an initiative from Enterprise Europe Network - aiming to connect buyers and producers of the food sector.

Registration and participation of the buyers : free of charge.

Registration and participation in this event for the suppliers is not free of charge. The cost is 350 euros per scheduled meeting. The invoice will be sent only after the validation of your agenda.

EU Brokerage Event on KETs in Horizon Europe

A French and a German National Contact Point (NCP) and the Enterprise Europe Network Rheinland-Palatinate with its regional EEN office at the IMG GmbH, Kaiserslautern, organise a brokerage event with the objectives to present the European Union’s new NMBP Work Programme of the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon Europe” and to prepare future cooperation between participants.

This event dedicated to Key Enabling Technologies will target upcoming calls in the following thematic fields:

Brokerage Event at the World Expo Dubai 2020

the Enterprise Europe Network of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce will organise an International Brokerage Event at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai from 20th to 22nd January 2021.

The purpose of the event is to leverage the international dimension at the World Expo in Dubai to bring opportunities for European companies while exploring the Middle Eastern market and the international markets. Furthermore, this event will also serve as a perfect platform to showcase the mission and vision of the Enterprise Europe Network, as a truly open and international business support network that works in the interest of SMEs in their development and internationalisation process.

While the envisaged brokerage event will be multi-sectorial and aims to support the presence of varied spectrum of SMEs, it will lay special emphasis on all the priority sectors for the European economy, namely sustainable development, circular Economy, ICT, transport & logistics, innovation and Industry 4.0 to stay in line with the theme of the Expo ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. Moreover, the following sectors will also be targeted: automotive & e-mobility, life science & biotechnology, eco-technologies, environment & renewable energy, eco-construction, MICE & Tourism as well as services to companies.
