The event will offer business contacts to industry professionals who are looking for potential partners in the EU and Japan to ensure sustainable business development and growth.

Attending this matchmaking event will give participants easy access to potential partners of business and R&D with competency and know-hows in the field of nanotechnology and its related.

Nanotech Mission to Japan for EU SMEs and Clusters 2020

The EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising a nanotech mission to Japan on the fringes of the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference” (http://www.nanotechexpo.jp/).
This mission aimed to support EU SME and Clusters in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale.

• Mission dates: from 28-31 January 2020
• Application deadline: Thursday, 3 October 2019,

Mission participants will have the opportunity to:
• Exhibit at the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference”
• Gain knowledge about the Nanotechnology market structure, sector analysis, business policy
• Identify relevant key contacts (decision makers, R&D centres, business partners)

Costs
The all organisation and its related costs such as the fair participation, interpreters, etc... are covered by the EU-Japan Centre. (see the link for more details).

SME and clusters participants can benefit of a €600 grant, provided by the European Commission, through our organisation to help cover the flight and hotel costs that are to be covered by the participant.

Please note: the number of allowed participants is limited to 20 therefore companies interested to the mission will have to fill in an application form and a selection process will take place to select the participating companies.

Brokerage Event "Moldova 2020 - Shaping the Future of International Business Cooperation"

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova in cooperation with other Enterprise Europe Network partners will organize the brokerage event “Moldova 2020 – shaping the future of international business cooperation”. The event will be hosted by the CCI RM on January, 30 2020 in Chisinau.

The brokerage event is organized with the support of Enterprise Europe Network having as objective to foster the investment and commercial cooperation between the entrepreneurs from the Republic of Moldova and the foreign business community. Leading representatives of SMEs, R&D institutions and governments will join to discuss exciting new economic and commercial opportunities and to develop new business relationships.

The Forum is organized in the framework of the National Exhibition “Made in Moldova” which will take place from January 29th to February 2nd 2020 at the International Exhibition Centre “Moldexpo” in Chisinau. The exhibition is organized annually by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova. The event has become over years one of the biggest and most prestigious exhibitions in the country. At the previous XVIII-th edition, 450 economic operators attended the exhibition on an area of 4680 square meters.

Life Science Zurich Impact – The Cause of Health in Zurich is a one-day multi-track meeting providing scientists from academia, clinics, and industry a platform to present their early stage life science projects to potential collaboration partners as well as investors.


Medicine has largely focused on studying the cause of illness in search for cures. Although we have made dramatic advances in identifying specific causes of illness in individual patients, we know remarkably little how individuals stay healthy. Cause of health research differs from classical medical and clinical research since it relies on data from healthy individuals. On 5 and 6 February 2020 (afternoon), the Enterprise Europe Network organises a matchmaking event with bilateral meetings at Prototyping + MNE 2020 in Kortrijk Xpo. Enterprise Europe Network will organize a brokerage event at SIRHA Expo, which will take place from 4 to 6 February in Budapest, Hungary.

An international matchmaking event (Business meetings) will be organized during Sirha Expo on 5th February 2020.
This worldwide event for the food service and hotel sectors - continues its international development.

The expo will bring together key players in the agrofood and retails industry in Hungary and Eastern Europe. Professional visitors will discover a comprehensive overview of the latest trends in the agrofood, bakery-pastry, hospitality and food service industries.

Bakery presentations and conferences
The Hungarian Bakery Association puts emphasis on future technologies during Sirha Budapest with such topics as cooling technologies, live labour substitution and replacing night working. Not only conferences will be held but also live demostration will take place and products will be showcased, manufactured with these technologies.

Cake of Hungary Competition
The National Trade Corporation of the Hungarian Confectionery Industry will be delivering another strong professional schedule at the event, including the jurying of the Cake of Hungary, the János Pataki commemorative competition and a showcase of award-winning Hungarian craft ice creams.

Innovation Product Competition

I S3Food Matchmaking event- Digitalization of the Food sector: Go to the action!

S3FOOD partners are promoting the first Matchmaking Event (B2B) in Asturias (Spain) in February 2020 in order to provide an opportunity for transnational project collaboration in smart sensors system implementation in the agri-food industry to improve efficiency, quality, sustainablility of products and food safety.

The aim of the Matchmaking Event is to encourage business and collaboration meetings between food SMEs, technology developers, technology providers and RTO to foster technical and entrepreneurial cooperation in the fields of smart sensors system implementation.

Event Focus

Brokerage provides possibility to present food (processing) industry needs and technology solutions oriented to smart sensor systems and gives an insight to develop innovative projects and promote interregional collaborations.

Why participate?

Increase knowledge, relationship transfer experience among the involved actors from 12 European regions coming from food industry, ICT, RTO, smart sensors technology providers and integrators to create a new industrial value chain.

Joint innovative projects will be supported by a call for funding (S3Food website)

Who should attend the brokerage event?

- Small and medium-sized enterprises from food industry, but also Large Enterprises are welcome, offering or requesting smart sensors technologies.

VIII Inward Trade Mission in the Agrofood sector to La Rioja

This event will join Spanish enterprises in the Agrofood sector from La Rioja and importers and distributors from over 20 countries.

During one day, companies will maintain business meetings previously established in agenda, with EU and third countries distributors and importers. The following day will be dedicated to visits to companies previously requested by importers. The Enterprise Europe Network in Regional Business Federation of La Rioja (ES) is the promoter of the event, co-organized by Enterprise Europe Network in Business Organisations from the above mentioned countries.

JEC is the largest composites industry organization in Europe and in the world with a network with more than 250.000 experts and professionals. All segments of the global composites industry will be connected by JEC. Furthermore the network supports the development of composites material by fostering knowledge transfer and exchanges between suppliers and users.
At the annual JEC Composites Show in Paris, Bayern Innovativ will organise a joint stand for Bavarian material experts from industry, universities and cluster organisations.

Enterprise Europe Network in Torun (Poland) is pleased to organise the 4th edition of the Matchmaking Event on the occasion of International Cooperative Trade Fair of Tools and Processing Industry INNOFORM 2020.

Matchmaking Event are organised one-to-one business meetings. It is a great occasion to meet potential partners from all over the world, find out and discuss market trends and innovations or initiate cross-border contacts and long-lasting co-operation.

B2B Matchmaking at the Integrated Plant Engineering Conference 2020 (IPEC) on Cognitive Engineering & Production

The 6th European Integrated Plant Engineering Conference (IPEC) will take place in Nuremberg on the 11th of March 2020, this time with a special focus on „Cognitive Engineering & Production“.

The conference will be organized by the Nuremberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry with support from VDI (Association of German Engineers) in Northern Bavaria. The conference serves the exchange of experiences and ideas on Cognitive Engineering and Production.

The topic Cognitive Engineering and Production has gained attention in the course of the Industrial Internet of things (IIoT), which is said to transform production. Cognitive engineering itself uses cognitive psychology for engineering purposes to make production more efficient as well as to plan virtual and participative processes. Hereby, modern production management and digital engineering play a key role in optimizing processes by integrating IT. The integration of data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence allows great insight in the production process in order to improve the efficiency and reliability of the manufacturing environment.

The program includes several international speakers from countries such as UK, Sweden, the Netherlands and Germany. Thus, the conference will be held in English and participation is free of charge. The number of participants is limited.

Parallel to the conference, the Enterprise Europe Network organises a partnering event specifically for the international visitors of the IPEC 2020. Between 10 - 13 March 2020 the METAV (Metal Processing) will take place at the Messe Düsseldorf.

The international trade fair for manufacturing technology and process automation is now being held for the 21st time by the VDW (Association of German Machine Tool Builders) and is regarded as THE trade fair for technologies in metalworking.

At the centre of this year's exhibition are

Company mission of Polish companies from metal processing sector to Hannover, Germany

The planned company mission provides an answer to the needs expressed by the companies from Podlaskie region. The duration and destination of the mission have been established on the basis of the analysis conducted among local/regional companies. The company mission is co-organised with the Metal Processing Cluster. The mission is aimed at any company from metal processing industry, regardless of being a member of Metal Processing Cluster. The objective is to boost opportunities for international cooperation and establish new prospective business contacts, which will be achieved by active participation in the Hannover Messe trade fairs.


Who can register?
The registration is open for companies from the Podlaskie region in Poland that are active in the field of metal processing.

How can I register?
The registration process is done by a questionnaire available on the dedicated website (http://misja.pfrr.pl). Polish companies willing to participate in the outgoing mission shall contact the Podlaska Regional Development Foundation using the said website.

The registration deadline is 15 of February 2019.

International Partnering IFAT 2020 – Innovations in Environment, Energy and Circular Economy

IFAT is the leading trade fair for environmental technologies around water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. It is focused on business management and consists of a combination of lectures, case studies, role plays and company visits. Participants will have the opportunity to take part to negotiation role-play exercises and discuss with Japanese managers about decision-making, team management methods in Japan. Circular Bioeconomy Conference Potsdam

The German federal Ministry of Education and Research called out 2020 to be the year of Bioeconomy. A good reason to organise our fourth edition on Bioeconomy in Potsdam. Like the previous conferences the format is supposed to bring actors from all disciplines and sectors together to (further) develop new biobased value chains for biobased products. The focus in 2020 will be on the element of circularity. After all the bioeconomy approach is not sustainable necessarly since even renewable resources can be wasted. Therefore best practice examples as well as relevant keynotes and interactive formats shall explore the feasibilities and pitfalls of a circular bioeconomy. Bioeconomy + Circularity = Sustainability - Going in circles means leading the way.

Outgoing Romanian company mission to Armenia

EEN partner Tehnopolis Science & Technology Park from Iasi, Romania, together with EEN partners from Armenia organise a company mission between the 20th and 26 th of August 2020 to Armenia.
The purpose of this outward company mission is to explore cooperation possibilities between producers, exporters and distributors in one-to-one meetings.
This event will connect the businessmen and businesswomen or SMEs of the two countries, so as to intensify bilateral trade and economic relations. In order to increase mutual trade, to improve the structure of trade exchanges and explore possibilities for improving business cooperation.
The mission plan includes the meetings with business organisations in Erevan and B2B meetings between Romanian and Armenian entrepreneurs.
The company mission of Romanian companies (around 10 - 15 companies) will be assisted by the EEN partner from The Investment Support Center (B2B organisation, translations, study visits).
The companies will represent the following sectors : agrofood, industry, marketing, tourism.

Biotech Cluster and SME Mission 2020

Following the successful results from the previous years, the EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising the 8th edition of the cluster and SMEs match-making mission in the Biotechnology sector. This mission aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale. The mission will also contribute to improve the cooperation strategies between EU and Japanese clusters.

The Biotech Cluster/SME mission coincides with the “BioJapan” Expo in Yokohama (http://www.ics-expo.jp/biojapan/en/). During the fair (3 days) participants will attend showcase sessions and B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors. In order to maximize participants' partnering opportuni­ties, participants will be able to exhibit in the EU Delegation booth.

Additionally, a partnering event will be organized one day before the fair, in Osaka.

OBJECTIVES

Through this mission you will have the opportunity to:

- display your technology at one of Japan’s leading trade shows
- meet potential business partners
- create new business opportunities
- develop partnerships and business cooperation on global

- increase your innovation capacity and become more competitive on a global scale (as an SME)
- prepare the ground for practical cluster cooperation across borders and make a more strategic use of transnational cluster cooperation on markets outside Europe in areas of strategic interest (as a cluster)

The all organisation and its related costs such as the fair participation, interpreters, etc... are covered by the EU-Japan Centre. (see the link for more details).

SME and clusters participants can benefit of a €600 grant, provided by the European Commission, through our organisation to help cover the flight and hotel costs that are to be covered by the participant.

Please note: the number of allowed participants is limited to 20 therefore companies interested to the mission will have to fill in an application form and a selection process will take place to select the participating companies.

Brokerage event at the European Biotech and Pharma Partnering Conference 2020 in Osaka, Japan

The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation as the partner of Enterprise Europe Network in Japan, is organising a Brokerage Event in Biotech and Pharma sectors, which will take place on 13 October 2020 in Osaka, Japan.

Being Japan’s second largest city, Osaka is a major economic centre for Biotech and Pharma industry in Japan and hosts several biotech clusters. Historically, a large number of pharmaceutical companies have been concentrated in Osaka. Nowadays, bio-related pharmaceutical companies, food manufacturers and their surrounding companies, including chemical and medical equipment companies are accumulated around Osaka and forming clusters.

During the event, business representatives of EU companies will have an opportunity to attend pre-arranged B2B meetings with Japanese companies from the Kansai region. The event serves a perfect platform to meet representatives of Japanese companies and accelerate opportunities for potential business partnerships between EU and Japanese companies. The event will kick off with an opening speech at 9 AM and the B2B meetings will take place shortly after (from 9:20 PM to 4:00 PM).

The business matching event is reserved only to European Union (including COSME) companies and to local Japanese companies.

SIAL 2020 - Meet Buyers

SIAL is the world's leading food industry show which takes place
every two years in Paris.

In 2020, SIAL Paris will be a bigger source of inspiration than ever for the world's food industry: 7,000 companies from more than 100 countries will be presenting their products to retail and foodservice professionals.

All manner of food products, from ingredients through equipment to end products, will be on show, across 21 exhibition sectors.
SIAL Innovation will once again be casting the spotlight on a host of innovative food products.

A brokerage event is organised in SIAL by Enterprise Europe Network Normandie and Paris Ile de France.

The event will organise face-to-face buyer-producer meetings based on specific requests from the international buyers. Producers from all over Europe will travel to Paris to present their products during the pre-booked meetings. This new type of event is an initiative from Enterprise Europe Network - aiming to connect buyers and producers of the food sector.

Registration and participation of the buyers : free of charge.

Registration and participation in this event for the suppliers is not free of charge. The cost is 350 euros per scheduled meeting. The invoice will be sent only after the validation of your agenda.

Brokerage Event at the World Expo Dubai 2020

the Enterprise Europe Network of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce will organise an International Brokerage Event at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai from 20th to 22nd January 2021.

The purpose of the event is to leverage the international dimension at the World Expo in Dubai to bring opportunities for European companies while exploring the Middle Eastern market and the international markets. Furthermore, this event will also serve as a perfect platform to showcase the mission and vision of the Enterprise Europe Network, as a truly open and international business support network that works in the interest of SMEs in their development and internationalisation process.

While the envisaged brokerage event will be multi-sectorial and aims to support the presence of varied spectrum of SMEs, it will lay special emphasis on all the priority sectors for the European economy, namely sustainable development, circular Economy, ICT, transport & logistics, innovation and Industry 4.0 to stay in line with the theme of the Expo ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. Moreover, the following sectors will also be targeted: automotive & e-mobility, life science & biotechnology, eco-technologies, environment & renewable energy, eco-construction, MICE & Tourism as well as services to companies.

Important to note that the “Sustainability Week” will be organised from 16th – 21st January 2021 in the framework of the World Expo, which will bring together key specialists, pioneers, leaders and policy makers from the sector. As a priority topic for the EU economy, the envisaged EEN brokerage event will incorporate the Sustainability Week as an optional programme.

The event will encompass visits to industrial zones, thematic seminars, networking receptions and b2b meetings at its core.

In this context, we would like to invite you to register this event in your programme for 2020-2021 and to coordinate a delegation from your respective countries. In case your country has a pavilion at the Expo, we invite you to take up contact with the Director of your National Pavilion as well as with your local Embassy and your bilateral chamber who might be key in helping you build your delegation, especially with companies who are already there on the spot. Our team remains at your entire disposal to help you identify the relevant actors who can help you build your presence to the Dubai Expo.

The participation fee for companies amounts to EUR 250 and will include the following services:

- Individual arrangement of b2b meetings
- Participation in workshops
- Visits to companies / Special Economic Zones including transfers
- Entrance ticket to the World Expo Dubai
- Participation in the networking receptions
- Lunch during the b2b meetings at the Expo.
