Commercial mission of Catalan companies to Israel

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Terrasa (Spain) is organizing a multisectorial company mission under the internationalisation Plan of Catalan companies 2019 in cooperation with the Catalonia Trade and Investment office and the EEN partners in Tel Aviv from 18th Feb to 22th Feb 2019.

The mission will take place between 18th Feb to 22th Feb 2019 and during the mission Catalan and Israeli companies will have the opportunity to establish cross-border contacts for future co-operations through pre-arranged meetings/agendas laid out before companies leave Catalonia.

The companies participating in this trade mission are from various sectors, as for instance: medical products, industrial systems, technical fabrics, chemistry, agro food, cosmetics, among others.

Most of them are seeking distributors, agents for their products in Tel Aviv.

What do Terrassa Chamber of Commerce offer to the companies?

-Meeting with the head of the Terrassa Chamber of Commerce markets to assess the activity and purpose of the participating company (prior to the mission).

- Individual agenda elaborated by our local collaborators at destination (in that case with the Catalonia Trade and Investment office which is our partner within the EEN Consortium) and contrasted by the General Council of Chambers of Catalonia

Outgoing Lithuanian company mission to Germany

With support of Lithuanian Innovation Centre and the NRW International Lithuanian IT sector companies will be visiting Germany on the 19th - 21st of February 2019. During the visit industry representatives will be looking for industrial and commercial partners by attending the EuroCIS event held in Dusseldorf (https://www.eurocis-tradefair.com/) as well as participate in pre-arranged b2b meetings.

The aim of the event is to renew old connections and establish new ones between Lithuanian companies and their partners - exploiting the merits of good established working relationships between the countries for fruitful business collaborations.

The Life Sciences community in Flanders invites international researchers and companies for a unique event stimulating innovation cross-overs between medical technologies, biotechnologies and regenerative medicine.

The Enterprise Europe Network Flanders supports this unique event and organizes a B2B along this conference. The matchmaking is intended for Business-to-Business, as well as for Science-to-Business.

The conference focuses on the cross-fertilization potential between semiconductor technologies, micro/nano-electronics, microsystems and microfluidics, in-vitro diagnostics, biotech markers, bioassays and cell interactions, bio-informatics and data analytics, single cell diagnostics, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine and 3D printing leading to a new class of in-vitro diagnostics devices and point-of-care devices. VII Inward Trade Mission in the Agrofood sector to La Rioja

This event will join Spanish enterprises in the Agrofood sector from La Rioja and importers and distributors from over 20 countries.

During one day, companies will maintain business meetings previously established in agenda, with EU and third countries distributors and importers. The following day will be dedicated to visits to companies previously requested by importers. The Enterprise Europe Network in Regional Business Federation of La Rioja (ES) is the promoter of the event, co-organized by Enterprise Europe Network in Business Organisations from the above mentioned countries.

Brokerage Event at Taipei International Machine Tool Show 2019

Enterprise Europe Network Taiwan is hosting a business-to-business (B2B) brokerage event on 4 March 2019, which will take place during the Taipei International Machine Tool Show in Taipei.

The Taipei International Machine Tool Show is the third biggest machine tool show in the world, and this year, the show will be held in not only Nangang Exhibition Hall 1 but also expanded to Hall 2! The show will focus on "Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing" as well as "AI and Innovation" to showcase the latest machine learning and AI technologies with a future of men and machine working in the same environment. The show will also hold "The Second Industry Summit Forum" with "Smart IoT", "3D Printing", "Car Parts" and "Aeronautics and Space" as themes and internationally renowned traders and professionals as speakers. As in Paris in 2018, the fair Global Industrie will be held in Lyon, and will take place from 5th to 8th March 2019 at the Eurexpo Exhibition Centre. Agrofood Company Mission to Brazil

The National Confederation of Industries of Brazil, CNI, with the support of the SICINDUSTRIA, the Enterprise Europe Network Consorzio Bridgeconomies, in Italy, are promoting a Company Mission to Brazil for the Agrofood sector to match business interests between Brazilian and European medium size entreprises.

CNI coordinates the Brazilian Network of International Business Centers, the CIN Network, to promote the internationalization of Brazilian companies through customized services and also to defend the industry interests in its internationtal operations.

Present in Industry Federations of 26 states and Federal District, the CIN Network has foreign trade experts who develop linked and complementary solutions for better knowing their real business opportunities and enhancing their relations with customers and partners abroad.

It is known that the EU has twelve trade negotiations under way. One of them is with MERCOSUR composed by four countries: Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. This trade has been negotiating for 22 years which implies the importance of developing an agreement between EU and MERCOSUR. The future of its bilateral negotiation is to facilitate the business integration for both continents trying to solve market access issues.

Although the Brazilian market is is highly protected with an applied customs averaging duty of 13.5%, the EU encourages Brazil to reduce tariff and non-tariff barriers, and to promote a stable and more open regulatory environment for European investors and traders.

The 5th European Integrated Plant Engineering Conference (IPEC) will take place in Nuremberg on the 13th of March 2019, this time with a focus on “edge analytics“.

Inn2Power B2B matchmaking event offshore wind Groningen

A business to business matchmaking event on offshore wind will be organised on the 15th of March 2019 in Groningen, the Netherlands. The event is jointly organised by the Enterprise Europe Network and the Interreg Inn2Power project. It brings together companies from the offshore wind industry from multiple European countries. The brokerage event is the fifth edition of business to business matchmaking events organised in the context of the project and will now be hosted in Groningen. The previous editions were succesfull with close to 200 participants.

The target audience for the event are companies and organisations active in the offshore wind industry, both buyers and sellers. Areas of activity include amongst others manufacturing of wind turbines, operations and maintenance, offshore wind park planning and project development, grid operation and energy storage, new materials, etcetera.

The brokerage event takes place during a symposium on offshore wind starting on the 14th of March. During the plenary programme multiple speakers will elaborate on the latest developments within the offshore wind energy industry with a focus on the North of the Netherlands and the adjacent North Sea area.

Inn2Power is a four-year Interreg project of eleven partners from the five leading offshore wind clusters in the North Sea Region – Denmark, United Kindom, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. The aim is to expand the capacity for innovation and to improve access to the offshore wind industry for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by connecting offshore wind businesses in the North Sea Region.

The Ocean Business 2019 b2match event is an important international maritime and marine technologies event held in Southampton every two years, and has a particular focus on companies working in the following sectors:

The 2-week ‘Get Ready for Japan’ training programme offers EU managers the unique opportunity to experience and understand both the cultural and economic elements which define and explain Japan's business and technological achievements. Continuously improved to meet the latest expectations about business in Japan, the Get Ready for Japan provides EU businessmen with a professional Japan-related expertise.

It is focused on business management and consists of a combination of lectures, case studies, role plays and company visits. This is designed to help participants become thoroughly informed about the actual conditions of Japanese business through practical analysis and research. Participants will have the opportunity to take part to negotiation role-play exercises and discuss with Japanese managers about decision-making, team management methods in Japan.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

Typical participants:

Partnering Event at MedTech Summit

MedTecLIVE exhibition and MedTech Summit congress bring Europe's healthcare and medical technology experts to Nuremberg.

The international Congress and Partnering at MedTech Summit and the international medical technology exhibition MedtecLIVE, will take place from 21st until 23rd May 2019 in Nuremberg. The MedTech Summit is one of the most important conventions of the health industry and has established as a key event in Europe for 10 years. The event brings together medical practitioners as well as other experts from the health care industry. Developments in the fields of digitization or personalized health have been among the core items of the congress program for many years. B2B meetings at EMO Hanover 2019

EMO Hannover is the world's largest and leading fair of the metal sector. September 16-20th, 2019, the Enterprise Europe Network is organising the 4th matchmaking event at EMO in Hanover.

Decisionmakers from around the world are present at the fair, making it the place to be for anybody from the world of metalworking to find out about new technologies and market opportunities.

The last fair in 2017 in Hanover was attended by 2,200 exhibitors and 129,000 visitors from over 160 countries.

The last Enterprise Europe Network Matchmaking event had 298 participants from 25 countries.

Main focus of the fair:

- cutting and forming machine tools,
- manufacturing systems,
- precision tools,
- automated materials flows,
- computer technology,
- industrial electronics and accessories,

As in previous years the matchmaking will be a high-profile event which offers the network and the participating partners the opportunity to present themselves to a large international audience. Exhibitors from many countries are already registered at the fair and can also be recruited for the event with the support of the fair organiser vdw who supports the event as the official matchmaking event of the fair. Exhibitors of the fair and Enterprise Europe Network customers can register for free until July 31st.

Biotech Cluster and SME Mission 2019

Following the successful results from the previous years, the EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising the 7th edition of the cluster and SMEs match-making mission in the Biotechnology sector. This mission aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale. The mission will also contribute to improve the cooperation strategies between EU and Japanese clusters.

The Biotech Cluster/SME mission coincides with the “BioJapan” Expo in Yokohama (http://www.ics-expo.jp/biojapan/en/). During the fair (3 days) participants will attend showcase sessions and B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors. In order to maximize participants' partnering opportuni­ties, participants will be able to exhibit in the EU Delegation booth.

Additionally, a partnering event will be organized one day before the fair, in Osaka.

The EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising a nanotech mission to Japan on the fringes of the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference” (http://www.nanotechexpo.jp/).
This mission aimed to support EU SME and Clusters in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale.

• Mission dates: from 28-31 January 2020
• Application deadline: Thursday, 3 October 2019,

Mission participants will have the opportunity to:
• Exhibit at the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference”
• Gain knowledge about the Nanotechnology market structure, sector analysis, business policy
