Czech companies from brewing industry will visit Cyprus for B2B meetings

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cyprus together with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and the Centre for Regional Development of the Czech Republic, both EEN partners, are organizing the «MicrobrewTech Seminar and B2B meetings» which will take place on 07 April 2020 between 16:30 – 20:00 hours at the 2nd floor of the CCCI building in Nicosia.

In the framework of the Seminar, a Matchmking Event (B2B) will be held with the support of Enterprise Europe Network. The Matchmaking Event is a great opportunity to network, find trustworthy partners working in similar fields, get local market information as well as exchange ideas and find support to build up new business partnerships.

The profiles of the Czech companies are attached.

Business Mission of Serbian companies from tourism sector to Czech Republic

The aim of this mission is to create platform for Serbian and Czech companies from tourism sector and support the cooperation among the tourism companies, that should result in increase of touristic atractivity in both regions. the event should establish new business contacts or deepen existing business relations.

The program of the event will include inspiring excursions, meetings with stakeholders and in particular bilateral meetings between Czech and Serbian partners.

Duration of the meetings during brokerage event is 20 minutes. As introduction for B2B will be two, 15 minutes long presentations, that will introduce all participants.

Beside meetings with companies, the event will be an opportunity for Serbian and Czech companies to meet representatives of the region, spas, hotels and touristic resorts.

With the support of Lithuanian Innovation Centre and the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, a delegation of Lithuanian construction development companies will be visiting Riga on the 12-15th March 2020. During the visit industry companies representatives will be looking for industrial and commercial partners by attending the House | 2020 (http://www.bt1.lv/maja1/eng/) as well as participating in pre-arranged b2b meetings.

The aim of the event is to renew old connections and establish new ones between Latvian and Lithuanian companies - exploiting the merits of geographical proximity between the countries for fruitful business collaborations.

Brokerage event: boosting technology transfer in Central Europe

On occasion of the official launch of the KETGATE Network we invite all small- & medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and research & technology organizations (RTOs) looking for the right research and/or industry partner to explore cooperation opportunities.

The goal of KETGATE is simple, we want to help businesses reach science and we want to help science reach businesses. This way, businesses can gain competitiveness or even enter into new markets while RTOs can generate revenue (be it financial, academic prestige or research related) from the knowledge they possess.

To that end, KETGATE and Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) have joined forces to organize a brokerage event. The idea is that SMEs and RTOs get together to workout cooperation agreements.

Different sessions of pre-arranged meetings will take place, where SMEs and RTOs representatives have 30 minutes to introduce themselves and discuss technology transfer opportunities in a field related to key enabling technologies.

"INSPIRE - Stock exchange of INnovative Services, Products & Ideas REady for market" will provide the opportunity for the inventors from the Romanian South-West region, but not only, to meet the needs of SMEs related to technological transfer of patents and other innovative products, services and ideas.
Founded in 1947, the University of Craiova (UCV) is one of the largest public institutions of higher education in Romania, in the South-West region of Romania (at the territorial-administrative level, it counts 5 counties). Currently, UCV comprises 12 faculties and provides a wide-range field of study programmes in engineering, sciences, humanities, social studies, history, economics, agriculture, law, theology and arts, organised in Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. study programmes.
The staff and students are involved in fundamental, applied and advanced technological research, design, consulting and expertise. There are ongoing research programmes financed through European funds, Romanian Ministry of Education, as well as by economic environment. Thus, UCV plays an important role for:
- developing appropriate skills for the integration of graduates on the labour market;
- promoting research programs that meet market needs;
- identifying economic demands for training, technical assistance, legal advice;
- developing collaborations at regional, national and international level.

Since 2015, UCV has become part of Enterprise Europe Network, member in Ro-Boost Consortium, offering support services for development and internationalization for innovative SMEs in the region. Brokerage event for SME’s looking to cooperate in research and development projects.

In the context of the Eurostars Calls (next cut-off deadline is 3 September 2020), the Enterprise Europe Network and the public funding agencies from Belgium, the Netherlands and Nordrhein-Westfalen (Germany) co-organise on May 27th, 2020 a matchmaking event in Ghent, Belgium, for SME’s interested in Life Sciences topics.

Eurostars funds international innovative projects led by R&D-performing SMEs. With its bottom-up approach, it supports the development of innovative products, processes and services. It is an ideal first step in international cooperation, enabling small businesses to combine and share expertise and benefit from working beyond national or regional borders.

To help interested parties in finding international partners (companies, universities, research institutes) with complementary expertise to set up a Eurostars project, a matchmaking event is organised in the domain of Life Sciences, including health, biotech, medtech and agrotech.

Italian delegation in Morocco

From the 15th to the 19th June a delegation of almost 40 sicilian companies will visit Morocco during a multisectorial business Mission. The Mission is organized by Sicindustria, partner of Enterprise Europe Network, Banca Popolare Sant'Angelo, in collaboration with the General Consulate of Morocco in Sicily and the Banque Populaire du Maroc.

The Mission aims at letting entrepreneurs exploring the commercial opportunities in Morocco, developing new contacts and creating relationships and collaborations with potential partners carefully selected.

Morocco is currently the country of greatest interest in the North African economic area.
The reforms introduced in Morocco in recent years are bearing fruit. According to the World Bank's Doing Business report, in 2019 Morocco is ranked first among the most interesting countries for business development.

Morocco today is a strategic gateway for the entire African continent, especially for relations with the countries of the sub-Saharan area: a potential market for over a billion African consumers.

B2WORTH: Company Mission @Milan Design Week 2020

On the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2020, within the framework of Enterprise Europe Network, the SIMPLER Consortium is organizing a special matching day for companies involved in the WORTH Partnership Project on the 18 June 2020. The matchmaking event will be hosted in Tortona District, one of the historic sites of Fuorisalone.

The WORTH initiative, funded under the COSME programme, aims to create transnational and cross-discipline collaborations between fashion, product and industrial designers, crafters, manufacturers, technology firms and start-ups across EU and COSME countries, to develop unique and high-end products in the following sectors: fashion and textile, footwear, fur and leather, furniture and home decoration, accessories and jewellery. The planned company mission provides an answer to the needs expressed by the companies from Podlaskie region. The duration and destination of the mission have been established on the basis of the analysis conducted among local/regional companies. The company mission is co-organised with the Metal Processing Cluster. The mission is aimed at any company from metal processing industry, regardless of being a member of Metal Processing Cluster. The objective is to boost opportunities for international cooperation and establish new prospective business contacts, which will be achieved by active participation in the Hannover Messe trade fairs.


Who can register?
The registration is open for companies from the Podlaskie region in Poland that are active in the field of metal processing.

The 2-week ‘Get Ready for Japan’ training programme offers EU managers the unique opportunity to experience and understand both the cultural and economic elements which define and explain Japan's business and technological achievements. Continuously improved to meet the latest expectations about business in Japan, the Get Ready for Japan provides EU businessmen with a professional Japan-related expertise.

It is focused on business management and consists of a combination of lectures, case studies, role plays and company visits. This is designed to help participants become thoroughly informed about the actual conditions of Japanese business through practical analysis and research. Participants will have the opportunity to take part to negotiation role-play exercises and discuss with Japanese managers about decision-making, team management methods in Japan. The mission may include the possibility to have tailored B2B meetings as well.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

Typical participants:

- have a major role in defining and implementing their companies’ policies vis-à-vis Japan,
- are to be transferred to Japan,

Matchmaking event during the 85th edition of the Thessaloniki International Fair

The Federation of Industries of Greece (SBE), in collaboration with the National Exhibition Agency TIF HELEXPO SA, is organizing a Brokerage Event on 7-8 September 2020, during the 85th edition of the Thessaloniki International Fair, which will take place on 5-13 September 2020.

The first Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) was organized almost a century ago in 1926. Over the following decades, TIF has come to be considered as the "mother" of national exhibitions. It is also the largest trade exhibition not only in Greece but in the whole of the Balkan region. In addition, it has built up a solid reputation for hosting various parallel sessions, including international parternariat events, as well as business-to-government features.

With a strong focus on showcasing entrepreneurship and innovation, TIF has consistently worked towards promoting the Greek economy and enhancing foreign partnerships, particularly in the wider region of Southeast Europe. Furthermore, it has been instrumental in creating “incubators” for the development of other internationally-oriented events.

Last year’s TIF gathered 1600 Greek and international exhibitors, and welcomed over 250,000 visitors from Greece and abroad. This year, the 85th TIF expects to equal if not outdo those figures. Biotech Cluster and SME Mission 2020

Following the successful results from the previous years, the EU-Japan Centre, Enterprise Europe Network representative for Japan, is organising the 8th edition of the cluster and SMEs match-making mission in the Biotechnology sector. This mission aimed to support EU cluster organisations and their SME members in their efforts to access global value chains and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The mission will give EU SMEs the opportunity to enter the Japanese market and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale. The mission will also contribute to improve the cooperation strategies between EU and Japanese clusters.

The Biotech Cluster/SME mission coincides with the “BioJapan” Expo in Yokohama (http://www.ics-expo.jp/biojapan/en/). During the fair (3 days) participants will attend showcase sessions and B2B meetings and meet with Japanese visitors. In order to maximize participants' partnering opportuni­ties, participants will be able to exhibit in the EU Delegation booth.

Additionally, a partnering event will be organized one day before the fair, in Osaka.

OBJECTIVES

Through this mission you will have the opportunity to:

Brokerage event at the European Biotech and Pharma Partnering Conference 2020 in Osaka, Japan

The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation as the partner of Enterprise Europe Network in Japan, is organising a Brokerage Event in Biotech and Pharma sectors, which will take place on 13 October 2020 in Osaka, Japan.

Being Japan’s second largest city, Osaka is a major economic centre for Biotech and Pharma industry in Japan and hosts several biotech clusters. Historically, a large number of pharmaceutical companies have been concentrated in Osaka. Nowadays, bio-related pharmaceutical companies, food manufacturers and their surrounding companies, including chemical and medical equipment companies are accumulated around Osaka and forming clusters.

During the event, business representatives of EU companies will have an opportunity to attend pre-arranged B2B meetings with Japanese companies from the Kansai region. The event serves a perfect platform to meet representatives of Japanese companies and accelerate opportunities for potential business partnerships between EU and Japanese companies. The event will kick off with an opening speech at 9 AM and the B2B meetings will take place shortly after (from 9:20 PM to 4:00 PM).

Based in Limoges since 2005, the EUROPEAN CERAMICS CLUSTER ("Pôle européen de la céramique") federates local stakeholders (suppliers, buyers, RTOs, ...) specialized in technical ceramics to connect them with the European and international markets. Furthermore, a rich ecosystem of research and technology organisations (RTOs) as well as doctoral and international trainings within the Limoges university have permitted to create a real European hotspot in technical ceramics.
This major event for the EUROPEAN CERAMICS CLUSTER implicates the Enterprise Europe Network to gathering European and international stakeholders, especially BUYERS, to come to Limoges and meet with local suppliers creating notably matchmakings.
The participation for BUYERS is free (including the gala dinner on the 04th November 2020).

Subcontracting Meetings 2020 - Brokerage Event on Industrial Subcontracting - NEW DATE

Encouraged by the success of the previous editions of the Subcontracting Industrial Subcontracting Exhibitions, Poznan International Fair decided to organise the "Subcontracting Meetings 2020" which will be held simultaneously with the biggest industrial trade fair in Poland – the ITM Poland.
Subcontracting exhibition is dedicated to companies that provide subcontracting services – mainly in the area of metal processing. Industrial Subcontracting Exhibition 2020 fair will be accompanied by co-operational Subcontracting Meetings 2020, to which industry representatives, including large corporate enterprises, are invited. This year the Subcontracting Meetings will be organized for the ninth time. In year 2019 more than 100 participants from 12 countries took part in more than 340 meetings.
The aim of the Subcontracting Meetings 2020 is to match companies offering advanced industrial subcontracting services with partners/companies searching for such subcontractors. The
participants of Subcontracting Meetings 2020 can be companies that are exhibitors of the Industrial Subcontracting Exhibition and which want to present their subcontracting services. The visitors of the fairs - buyers of subcontracting services, can take part also in the meetings to find most suitable partners. The role of the Enterprise Europe Network partners is to support Poznan International Fairs in organisation of the meetings and to provide assistance for Enterprise Europe Network clients before, during and after the meetings.

Business to Blue (B2Blue)

ART-ER, within the Enterprise Europe Network Simpler consortium, organizes Business to Blue (B2Blue) brokerage event, one day of bilateral meetings between universities, research centres, SME and companies on the blue economy. The event is organised in the framework of Sealogy, an Italian trade fair on the topic and is taking place in Ferrara (Italy) on the 6th of March 2020.

The brokerage event is organised in the context of MISTRAL, an Interreg MED programme, aiming to strengthen international cooperation within the blue growth ecosystem and to increase the networking capabilities of SMEs, research centres, universities and clusters.

The topics for the brokerage event are the Mediterranean blue economy drivers identified in MISTRAL’s “Blue Growth Book”, a report on well-established and emerging sectors relevant to the blue economy in terms of innovation capacity and potential of future investment.

Brokerage Event at the World Expo Dubai 2020

the Enterprise Europe Network of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce will organise an International Brokerage Event at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai from 20th to 22nd January 2021.

The purpose of the event is to leverage the international dimension at the World Expo in Dubai to bring opportunities for European companies while exploring the Middle Eastern market and the international markets. Furthermore, this event will also serve as a perfect platform to showcase the mission and vision of the Enterprise Europe Network, as a truly open and international business support network that works in the interest of SMEs in their development and internationalisation process.

While the envisaged brokerage event will be multi-sectorial and aims to support the presence of varied spectrum of SMEs, it will lay special emphasis on all the priority sectors for the European economy, namely sustainable development, circular Economy, ICT, transport & logistics, innovation and Industry 4.0 to stay in line with the theme of the Expo ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. Moreover, the following sectors will also be targeted: automotive & e-mobility, life science & biotechnology, eco-technologies, environment & renewable energy, eco-construction, MICE & Tourism as well as services to companies.

Important to note that the “Sustainability Week” will be organised from 16th – 21st January 2021 in the framework of the World Expo, which will bring together key specialists, pioneers, leaders and policy makers from the sector. As a priority topic for the EU economy, the envisaged EEN brokerage event will incorporate the Sustainability Week as an optional programme.

The event will encompass visits to industrial zones, thematic seminars, networking receptions and b2b meetings at its core.

In this context, we would like to invite you to register this event in your programme for 2020-2021 and to coordinate a delegation from your respective countries. In case your country has a pavilion at the Expo, we invite you to take up contact with the Director of your National Pavilion as well as with your local Embassy and your bilateral chamber who might be key in helping you build your delegation, especially with companies who are already there on the spot. Our team remains at your entire disposal to help you identify the relevant actors who can help you build your presence to the Dubai Expo.

The participation fee for companies amounts to EUR 250 and will include the following services:

- Individual arrangement of b2b meetings
- Participation in workshops
- Visits to companies / Special Economic Zones including transfers
- Entrance ticket to the World Expo Dubai
- Participation in the networking receptions
- Lunch during the b2b meetings at the Expo.
